You can also keep the exterior of you guitar shining with a buff of wood polish. Wood polish not only gives your guitar that sheen, but also preserves the wood as well. Just make sure you purchase wood polish that is suited for guitars.

The strings of your guitar is also a major point of maintenance. Most guitarists prefer to change strings once every two months as this is the general rule of the thumb. The basic step in installing the strings is attaching both ends to their proper places and tune them until you get the right note.

Guitars are great instruments and they need real care from their masters. Whether they are expensive or not, it is only right that you provide proper maintenance for you guitars.
