Her single mom has invited her two best lifetime friends to the wedding. Sophie has invited three men from her mothers past, eager to find her father, and have him walk her down the aisle. Old romances are reborn during the hectic day before the wedding.

The Prestige - The setting is the early 1900's in London. Magicians are of high status in the entertainment business. Robert Angler and Alfred Borden, once partners on stage, are now in an intense battle to be the best magician in London. They will go to any means to outshine the other.

Rubin and Ed - Unusual odyssey of 2 gentlemen on a mission to bury a dead cat. Can they ever find the right spot? Glover once made a notorious appearance on David Letterman's TV show playing the identical personality he does here. Cast includes Crispin Glover, Howard Hesseman, Karen Black, Michael Green, and Brittney Lewis. 92 minutes, 1992.

China Moon - Tiny-town cop Harris lusts after unhappily married Stowe in this moody film noir. A few nice twirls, although production is more than a tad analogous to the better Body Heat. This is a directorial debut for Bailey, more normally known as a top cinematographer. Cast includes Madeline Stowe, Charles Dance, Benicio Del Taro, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Roger Aaron Brown, and Patricia Healy. 99 minutes, 1994.

Trading Mom - It's about three siblings who could not stand their mom. Spacek cast a spell which makes her-and all recollection of her vanish. Here is a flat and lifeless storyline with meager production values. Cast includes Sissy Spacek, Anna Chlumsky, Aaron Michael Metchik, Asher Metchik, Maureen Stapleton, and Merritt Yohnka. 82 minutes, 1994.

Metropolitan - Characteristic comedy, packed with sarcasm, is set throughout Christmas season, with hermit Clements drawn into small gang of buddies, and out of his shell. Cast includes Carolyn Farina, Edward Clements, Christopher Eigeman, Taylor Nichols, Allison Rutledge-Parisi, Dylan Hundley, Isabel Gillies, Bryan Leder, Can Kempe, and Elizabeth Thompson. 98 minutes, 1990.

Casino - Sam Rothstein has worked his way through the mob ranks and now runs the casino that his Chicago outfit owns. When mafia strong arm Nicky Santoro arrives in town, Sam pleads with him to keep a low profile. Business is good, and his services aren't really necessary. Nicky just can't help himself, and he starts banging heads. Now Sam's peace world gets turned completely upside down.

The Single Standard - Greta is a San Francisco debutante, a free mind who cracks seminar and cheats with actor Asther. Cast includes Greta Garbo, Nils Asther, John Mack Brown, Dorothy Sebastian, and Lane Chandler. 73 minutes, 1929. - 18758
