Top Ranking Box Office Achievement At The Movie Theater

By Alvin P Arnold

Just because a movie made a ton of money at the box office it does not essentially mean that you will be fond of it. Taste in movies is a very private opinion but the films that have the utmost achievement at the box office are the ones that have touched the most people and these are the movies that have achieved the uppermost degrees of accomplishment in the actual world.

The motion picture with the uppermost box office triumph made quite a bit less cash than the peak earning movie. That is because the most triumphant motion picture of all time came out clear back in the year 1939. Nevertheless, when adjusted for inflation this picture far surpassed the film that made the most cold-hard ready money.

Adjusting for the inflation of the ancient 70 years, the most victorious movie from all times is "Gone with the Wind" from 1939, starring Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara and Clark Gable as Rhett Butler. Adjusted for inflation this movie has grossed an incredible $1.45 billion.

The motion picture that has brought in the highest dollar amount without any change for inflation in fact comes in at a reputable, but by no means number 1, place at number 6. That movie is "Titanic" and it brought in $922 million.

Rounding out the best five, at number 2 it is "Star Wars", number 3 is "The Sound of Music", number 4 is "E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial and at the number 5 spot we have "The Ten Commandments".

Yet again at number 6 we have "Titanic", followed by "Jaws" at number 7. Number 8 is "Doctor Zhivago", number 9 is "The Exorcist" and rounding out the top ten is the Disney standard "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" which was made in 1939.

Disney movies have fared admiringly as "101 Dalmatians", "Mary Poppins" and "Fantasia" are all in the maximum 25. The "Star Wars" movies and George Lucas have also made an effect in the top 25 with "The Empire Strikes Back", "Return of the Jedi" and "Star Wars: Episode I- the Phantom Menace" all showing up in the leading 25.

If you haven't seen some of these distinguished films and you would like to, you should check out the option of downloading the complete, unabridged, full-length movie from a reputable and lawful movie download site. - 18758
