Movies Worth Watching

For years now, the video store was the way to get movies. Now, with internet usage exploding, movie downloads are becoming very popular. Just about any movie every made can be attained through a movie download site now. Check out these samples.

Hot Shots: This movie is a parody of many action films, but using Top Gun as the main force. Charlie Sheen star in this hilarious spoof. Not just making fun of Top Gun, Dances With Wolves, 9 ' Weeks, and even Gone With The Wind are all spoofed in this movie.

Absolution: Young Benjamin Starfield is tired of being the teacher's favorite at his Catholic school. So, he decides to play a joke on Father Goddard (Richard Burton). In confession he claims to have accidentally killed his best friend and buried him in the forest. Things get even more intriguing when Goddard finds the dead body of the young boy Benjamin claims to have killed. Richard Burton, Dominic Guard, Dai Bradley, and Billy Connolly star. (1978 Drama)

Blank Check: Mobster Carl Quigley almost kills young Preston when he runs over his bike. Wanting to just pay the kid off, he gives him a check. The problem is he gave Preston a blank check. Preston makes the check out for $1 million dollars and cashes it. Mow Quigley sees what has happened and want his money back. Can Preston avoid Quigley and his goons?

Ruffles of Red Gap: Laughton is amazing as butler triumphed in a Texas Poker game by uncouth however friendly westerner Ruffles and socially ambitious spouse Boland. Za-Su is the spinster he falls in love with. An entirely triumphing movie is born. Harry Leon Wilson's tale was filmed before in 1918 and 1923, then redid as Lavish Slacks. Cast includes H Leo McCarey, Charles Laughton, Mary Boland, Charlie Ruggles, ZaSu Pitts, Roland Youthful, and Leila Hyams. (92 minutes, 1935)

Hangman's Knot: Above-par Scott Western engages rebels pillaging a gold shipment and Officer Scott choosing they should return it. Cast includes Randolph Scott, Donna Reed, Claude Jannan, Richard Denning, and Lee Marvin. (81 minutes, 1952)

Report to the Commissioner: Newbie cop Moriarty inadvertently slaughters covert cop Blakely and gets to be embroiled in branch-wide cover-up. Vicious melodrama ranges from practical to overblown; tight however not unconditionally persuading. Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse OF The Black Pearl: Elizabeth, the daughter of the Jamaican Governor, has been kidnapped by the crew of the Black Pearl. She is needed to lift a curse of the old ship. Elizabeth's friend Will, who is completely in love with her, gets pirate captain Jack Sparrow to help him rescue her.

Batman: The comic book T.V. series hits the big screen. An evil and diabolical criminal, known as The Joker, is trying to take over Gotham City. The police are unable to stop him. The city is in peril, until a new super hero emerges. An unknown force, so to be called Batman comes on the scene and defeats The Joker and save the city.
