The film is stuffed with shocking, layered imagery, attractive production layout and cinematography. Pleasure can rely on your patience for Greenaway's approach to the material. Chicken Run: The chickens want to fly the coup in this animated, family comedy. Mrs. Tweedy, the greedy farm owner has other plans, and not only thwarts their escape, but threatens to make chicken pie out of them if egg production doesn't stay up to standards. All hope seems lost until Rocky shows up and helps the chickens make a more elaborate and daring escape attempt.
So Big: Disheartening adaptation of Edna Ferber's legend of an orphaned gal who turns into a schoolteacher in the middle of a farming town and raises her child to strive for a better life. Cast includes Barbara Stanwyck, George Brent, Dickie Moore, Guy Kibbee, Bette Davis, and Mac Madison. (80 minutes,'32)
House on 92nd Street: Arousing documentary style drama-based movie. It's about truth and orchestrated on true locations about FBI counterespionage exercises throughout WW2: Nazi representatives, operating in N.Y.C. try to steal part of the atom bomb secrets. Charles G. Booth made an Oscar for this story. Cast includes William Eythe, Lloyd Nolan, Signe Hasso, Gene Lockhart, Leo G. Carroll, and Lydia Clair. (88 minutes,'45)

The Mark of the Hawk: Abnormal story intelligently performed, set in modern-day Africa, with peaceful vs. violent means for racial equality the prime topic. Cast includes Eartha Kitt, Sidney Poitier, Juano Hernandez, and John McIntire. (83 minutes,'57)
