Famous And Beloved Films To Enjoy Right Now

By Daisy Floyd

Films are most likely the number one favorite form of entertainment in the world. The fact is that movies are low-priced, commonly beloved and they have the power to sway us emotionally. When a film is based on true events we learn from the tribulations of another person, and most of the time fictional movies influence us the same way.

The many different genres of motion pictures appeal to different people. There are always those who love a excellent horror movie and loathe a good chick flick but frequently there are some motion pictures that we like and others that we detest no matter the genre. The great thing about the movie entertainment business is that they always offer up something that appeals to everyone.

Motion pictures have been around for decades but it has only been in the past 30 years that we have been able to love movies at home. There are millions and millions of videos/DVD's etc. purchased and rented in America every month but now it can be even simpler because it is now doable to download movies directly to your computer right from your home.

We like to watch movies and the fact is that movies can be very valuable for our lives. Observing a terrific film allows us to calm down and flee our daily difficulties, anxieties and uncertainties, while we get caught up in the lives and situations of the characters in the motion picture.

Films can also be very educational. There are alluring true stories that teach us about people and the world we live in. "Erin Brockovich" starring Julia Roberts is an excellent illustration of a true story that tells about the world we live in. Al Gore's documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" is another good example of an educational motion picture.

History is also a fun topic to learn about through motion pictures. An enormously famous timeless historical film is "Gone With The Wind" and while it may seem that the movie was just about the perils of Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler, the truth is that you also discover quite a bit about the Civil War, which of course, is an exceedingly vital aspect of American history, as you enjoy the motion picture.

Memorable movie from the year 1978, Inglorious Bastards. 5 cadets getting ready to be court-martialed in WW2 take off and try to make their way through France, wishing to get to the Swiss border. Cast includes Ian Bannen, Bo Svenson, Fred Williamson, Peter Hooten, and Michael Pergolani. (100 minutes, 1978)

Our finest motion picture is Jarhead. This motion picture takes you from boot camp through a tour of duty in the Gulf War. As the soldiers poor into Iraq they meet little conflict. Many of the soldiers are enthusiastic to see some action. It's what they have been preparing for.

South Park, The pint-sized, excited babies of South Park, Colorado, are so wild about the new R-rated Terrance and Phillip film that they start copying its ill-mannered discussion. This empowers the parents of South Park to mount a promotion contrary to the film's megastars-and native land, Canada. Keen, farcical and yes, blasphemous spoof, based on the disrespectful Television succession; kindled by amazing melodies by Parker and Marc Shaiman. Cast includes Matt Stone, Mary Kay Bergman, Isaac Hayes, George Clooney, Brent Spiner, and Stewart Copeland.

Hot motion picture Finding Nemo is a fantastically designed cartoon children's adventure motion picture. Nemo is a young blowfish that has been scooped out of the ocean by a diver. His dad Martin is overwhelmed with guilt, and will swim the distance end to end of the ocean to discover his young son. His voyage takes him on an fantastic adventure with his newfound friend Dory, a blue tang, that in due course sees him reunited with his only son. - 18758
