Ten Good Recommendations For An Astounding Motion Picture To Observe Tonight

Excellent movie summaries start here. Bewitched - Isabelle is a witch, living in the San Fernando Valley, and trying to not use her magic powers. She finds herself being wooed by actor Jack Watt to play the role of Samantha the witch in a remake of the old 1960's sitcom Bewitched. What a strange twist of fate.

Big Trouble in Little China - Buddy Blowhard trucker Russell finds himself at large in Chinatown, while a pal's fiance is abducted right in front of his eyes. High tech Indiana Jones fashion escapade has large tongue-in-cheek manner, however everything else in reference to it is huge, too including Russell's John Wayne strut. Wonderful electric music score. The cast includes Kurt Russell, Kim Cattrall, Dennis Dun, James Hong, Champ Wong, and Kate Burton. (99 minutes, 1986)

Ivan the Terrible - Continuance of the story of King Ivan IV, in which he takes on the boyars in a confrontation for power. The Interpreter - U.N. translator Silvia Broome eavesdrops on a death threat made against an African leader. She knows that she was watched and fears for her life. Upon reporting the circumstance to law enforcement, she finds that assistance will not come easy.

The Beverly Hillbillies - This is a movie based on the 1960's TV series. When Jed Clampett by chance discovers oil on his farm land in Arkansas, he becomes an instant millionaire. He brings the entire Clampett kin out to Beverly Hills. Being plain country folk they are prey to every cash hungry con artist in the great big city.

Black like Me - Powerful drama based on authentic history of a journalist who took drugs that allowed him to pass for black so he might go through racial prejudice first hand. Some features of presentation are outdated, although topics are still relevant. Cast includes James Whitmore, Roscoe Lee Browne, Lenka Petersen, Sorrell Booke, Will Geer, Al Freeman, and Raymond Jacques. (107 minutes, 1964)

The All-American Boy - Jumbled drama in reference to Olympic hopeful Voight's effort to be a triumphant boxer; stunning locations of northern California, but that's all. Cast includes Jon Voight, Ned Glass, Anne Archer, and Carol Androsky. (104 minutes, 1989)

The Geisha Boy - Jerry, an incompetent warlock, travels to Japan with cataclysmic repercussions. Imaginative graphic gags; there's a cute pattern characterizing the Los Angeles Dodgers and, specially, Gil Hodges. Cast includes Jerry Lewis, Marie McDonald, Sessue Hayakawa, Nobu McCarthy, Suzanne Pleshette, Barton MacLane, and Robert Hirano. (98 minutes, 1958)

Dracula - Depressing retelling of the Bram Stoker classic, with Langella's esteemed Broadway depiction lost among trendy terror gimmicks and ill-imagined changes in the original tale. The movie was filmed in England. Cast includes Frank Langella, Laurence Olivier, Donald Pleasence, Kate Nelligan, Trevor Eve, Janine Duvitski, and Tony Haygarth. (109 minutes, 1979)

Bolt - This is an animated family adventure flick about Bolt, a dog actor. On his Television series Bolt is an action super hero. When he is accidentally shipped to New York, he thinks his super powers will send him home. He teams up with, Mittens the cat, and Rhino the hamster, and tries to get back to Hollywood. - 18758
