Kenny Chesney - The Man Behind the Music

By Matt Ryan

Kenny Chesney is one of those names that everyone has heard of, and the majority of people have heard one or two of his songs. In 2008, he received the Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year award, which is yet another achievement for his greatness. His laid-back appeal, along with his amazing music, makes his shows realistic and worth take a few hours to see!

Since the beginning of his career, in 1993, he has produced 13 albums. Eleven of these albums were certified Gold and Platinum! Over 30 of the songs, on these albums, have reached the Top 10 hit list. The amazing part of all of this is he still appears to be a laid-back kind of guy - he's got talent and personality.

Mr. Chesney was born in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1968. When he was 5-years old, his parents had given him his first guitar. You might think this is where his career started, but he quickly put the guitar down as it "hurt his fingers". Later in life he played, as a receiver, on the Gibbs High School football team.

After high school, Kenny Chesney went to East Tennessee State University. He was involved in a Bluegrass Program during his term here. At this point in his life, Kenny Chesney had started saving for a new guitar. Once he had bought one, and graduated, he followed his dream to Nashville.

Shortly after his arrival, in 1992, BMI and Opryland Music Group signed him. He had two top hits, right of the bat, "In my Wildest Dreams" and "All I Need to Know". Each of his songs tells a story about a piece of his life, as each one tells of his emotions and during particular events that he has experienced. This personalization is one of the many reasons audiences adore him.

Like many other stars, Kenny Chesney is adventuring into new arenas. Some stars are starting their own clothing lines or patenting their own scents. Chesney, on the other hand, is creating his own Rum. He is so adamant about the fans loving it that he even surveyed them to find out what they wanted to see in the Rum. Neither he nor his fans can wait until this release!

Still performing, tickets to his most recent show in Boston, didn't last more than 10 minutes. Normally this would not be a huge accomplishment, but due to the weak economy, ticket sales for entertainment purposes are down, yet his shows are not! Fans find comfort in his music and his performances.

Kenny Chesney has won an exuberant number of awards, some of which include 1997 ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year and 2008 Entertainer of the Year. Many others, such as single of the year, best video, and best male country artist line his bookshelves!

His charismatic personality and touching lyrics will capture audiences for years to come. Should he tour near you, don't miss the chance to see the most real country performance of your life. - 18758

Jonas Brothers Tickets - Make it a Family Event

By Matt Ryan

It has been a long time - if ever - that we have seen a young band as pure and innocent as the Jonas Brothers. They are not only passionate about what they do - sing and play music - but about their beliefs and how they are being raised; all of which comes out clearly in their performances and songs. They are still called "another American boy band", but typically by those who have not followed their performances or success. Their talent and passion have driven them quickly to the top, which will continue to take them to unbelievable places.

The Jonas Brothers are just that - three brothers who formed a band. They have been raised with Christian values, which come out in their expressive music. Kevin plays guitar, Joseph is the lead vocalist, and Nicholas does rhythm and guitar. Kevin took lead on the band and was the key to their first CD - "Jonas Brothers". Joseph, on the other hand, wanted to be a comedian - not a musician. The youngest, Nicholas, is just happy to be along for the ride - and just as talented as his brothers.

The Jonas Brothers have made quite a name for themselves in the few years they have been around. In 2005, they were noticed by Columbia executives because of a song that Nick Jonas and his father had done - and this is where it all began. Columbia quickly signed with the band and helped them to release their first album - "It's About Time" - the following year (2006). The band had help from amazing talent like Desmond child of Aerosmith and Billy Mann of Destiny's Child.

Shortly, Hollywood Records signed a contract, with the band, for the release of their second album. The entire album was great, but there were two key songs here - "Kids of the Future" and "I Wanna be Like You". Both of these songs got the band recognized, and things started to change.

It wasn't long after that their third album - "A Little Bit Longer" - was released to the public. This album contained a number of hits and was the turning point for the Jonas Brothers. Songs like "Burnin Up", "Pushin' Me Away", "Tonight", and "A Little Bit Longer" where number one hits on iTunes for a long period. The release of this album and their new number one hits influenced ticket sales instantly!

The Jonas Brothers are not only known for their music, but the guest appearances on Disney Channel shows - one of which is Hannah Montana. They also starred in one of Disney's original movies - "Camp Rock". They were a band of three - in this movie - that were sent to music camp for a summer (if the shoe fits).

The band has already received numerous awards for their accomplishments. Some of these awards include "Breakthrough Artist" from the American Music Awards, "New Act" from MTV Europe Music Awards, and "Favorite Music Group" from Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards. In 2008, the Jonas Brothers were even nominated for a Grammy for "Best New Artist"!

These boys are marking their territory quickly and making a great name for themselves. They are fully supported, and managed, by their parents - all of which helps to make them one of the greatest family bands in a long time. Their fans, after only a few years, are loyal and will continue to support them for years to come. Get tickets now and take the opportunity to experience pure bliss while watching the Jonas Brothers perform! - 18758

Nickelback - Their Story

By Matt Ryan

Nickelback is a rock band, originating from Canada, that is made up of 5 stunningly talented musicians. The mix of personalities and the obvious skill creates music that is nothing short of energetic. Their energy and passion attracts fans - of all ages - continuously, hit after hit. If you enjoy music, and welcome a good show, attending a Nickelback performance should be on the top of your list for the year.

This Canadian rock band began their career back in the 90's, and was inspired by the once popular band - "Creed". These musicians were determined to make it to the top regardless of the tough road they had in front of them. They definitely dealt with their share of difficulties and struggles, but made a quick rise regardless. Today they are amongst some of the top rock and roll bands around.

Chad Kroeger - lead singer of Nickelback - had perfected his musical talent by performing with many small bands in his hometown of Hanna. He, like many other musicians, knew he would have to go bigger if he ever wanted to make a name for himself. He, and his brother Mike, went off to Vancouver where they could hopefully begin to get noticed.

In 1996, two more musicians joined Chad and Mike on their adventure - Ryan Vikedal and Ryan Peake. This is when the group decided to call themselves Nickelback. (Nickelback was a clever name, devised from a catch phrase Mike would say to his customers when he worked at Starbucks.)

The talent that these musicians brought to the table was breath taking, but their energy and passion was much more captivating. Their passion and energy enabled them to do their own advertising. They approached club owners, radio stations, and crated their own posters for their gigs - they even created their own YouTube website. This drive got them to the point that - also in 1996 - they were able to begin touring and sharing their music.

The year 2000 opened new doors for the band. Canadian radio stations were looking to showcase only local bands this year, which gave Nickelback their window of opportunity. "The State" was their most recent release, and was the song that began to catch the attention of many - including recording artists. Canadian and U.S. recording firms signed contracts with the band for distribution rights of "The State".

In 2005, Ryan Vikedal left and Daniel Adair took his place. This did not slow the band down one bit. Daniel had the same passion and drive that the other members had, and they kept moving forward. In 2005 the released an album called "All the Right Reasons". This album stayed on the top 30 charts for two years, which is nearly unheard of. Additionally, the album sold over 7-million copies in the U.S. alone!

The passion that drives Nickelback is what makes them so special and what captivates thousands of audiences each year. Their music is beyond phenomenal, and their shows are even better. (They actually entice audiences to participate in their shows!) Their energy quickly spreads throughout the entire audience; you cannot help but enjoy your time at one of their performances. Their 2009 tour is in full swing; get tickets now while you still have a chance! - 18758

5 Unique Patch Programming Tips For Music Productions

By Matt Palmer

Utilising Other Synthesiser Techniques You could actually modulate the waveform of an oscillator by setting the LFO which is utilising the basic concepts of wave tables. Say you are to change your oscillators over to sin waves, so the following thing you can do, is to set up the octaves so they are separated from one another. This's an important factor for organ sound emulation but it really is a primary form of additive synthesis.

What're the selections for SFX Patches? There're a few choices available to create sound effects. Simply like the proper use of envelopes and effects guides you to what you are looking for. Then you would want to consider FM waveforms or other noise sources. One of the most outstanding features of the effect patches is the use of non tonal oscillator waveforms. Dont forget that you SFX patches provide several selections .

How You can Utilize Multiple Filters If you want something useable to warm up the digital sounds then consider the fact that external sound filter units could produce some very fascinating effects on the end of a signal chain. Most of the up to date synthesizers would even have a multimode, but at the very least will have 2 independent filters as part of their features. You could make use of these in two ways. You can use them by arranging them in sequences or they could be used in parallel. Say you play around with band pass and notch filter, which really are special filter modes, you would get several special effects. you can also try sending a different oscillator to a different filter.

For Big Sound Complexity try lateral thinking Say you want to add a few extra pizzazz to shorter sounds as well as create a few long slow ones, then try layering them. Large complex sounds take a couple of lateral thinking. If you layer multiple patches as the attack grows then disappears after each other, then you'll get modulating sweeping pad sounds.

Specialized LFOs Effects Lets assume you dont have the right oscillator waveforms to create that FM style type sound that you require. Theres something you could do to compensate for not having it. Setting the rate as fast as you possibly could, then set the LFO to modulate the stereo-panning. This implies you'll have to utilize a square wave. Some other function you have available to you is the sample and hold function. Some people tend to miss this, so make sure you make use of it.

In addition to every of the above take some-time to go through your on board presets. They're sure to inspire you into the accurate direction. These're prepared by professionals in the field of synth, so they know what theyre doing. When you come across one that truly appeals to you check it thoroughly. Discover how the sound was made and capture the techniques on your own creations (patches) - 18758
