Beat Maker Music Production - selecting the right Software

By Abdal Girmani

Beat maker software and good music beats are hard to come by. When I was first starting, I tried to find pre-recorded, royalty-free mixes to use as background in my videos. If you're like me, you have hunted everywhere for free beats to lay behind your music tracks. What you usually get is something that never fits like you want it to and it sounds like many others. What I wanted was something else, something I could make original. However , I didn't know a thing about manufacturing tracks on my own, after all, my field is video. I attempted all sorts of software and sites on the web and found some good stuff out there, but I could never find package that did it all for me.

There are a large amount of sites and software out there and they all have their good points and bad points. I've discovered that when hunting for any kind of software, not just for my music producer needs , it's best to make a list of the things I wanted it to meet. I decided that the perfect beat maker software or web site had to meet the following factors :

1. First and foremost, it needed to be user friendly. I had no real experience with sequencers or complicated mixers.

2. There had to be a massive library of prerecorded sounds and instruments.

3. Possible combinations of sounds and timing had to be unlimited.

4. Help texts needed to be easy to follow.

5. Output quality had to be phenomenal.

6. It needed to be in a position to output files in mp3 format.

7. If I wanted help, there needed to be good support.

8. It needed to be INEXPENSIVE!

Your list may differ, rather, from mine, but I was trying to find the ideal package. I thought initially that I was expecting too much, however luckily , after lots of searching, I found one to fit everything on my list.

There are many different places to look, both off and on-line.

1. Brick and mortar stores, i.e. : normal outlets like music and software stores.

2. On-line stores that sell software, i.e. : Amazon, Overstock, Fry's, etc . ( perform a search for music producer or beat creator software )

3. Forums are a good spot to see what others are using.

4. Website-based software and groups. These are great, because they usually offer better support and have a group of members 7that can help one another. - 18758

Aladdin - Disney's animated Arabian Days account is refined through the feeling of an old Warner Bros. animation, as Aladdin summons up a Genie who is overflowing with shtick. Williams' uproarious fast fire chatter forms the attraction of this otherwise conventional tale, colorfully (and tunefully) shown. Cast includes Voices of Scott Weinger, Robin Williams, Linda Larkin, Jonathan Freeman, Frank Welker, Gilbert Gottfried, Douglas Seale and the harmonizing voices of Brad Kand and Lea Salonga. Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - Small town band hits it huge, in an effort to link melodies from The Beatles' classic album into some kind of a storyline. In Enemy Country - Fair WW2 story, set in France and England, filmed on a back-lot. Not very persuading. Cast includes Tony Franciosa, Anjanette Comer

At the same time prosperous landowner Harris voyages there to claim the body of his child, who has just been murdered. We see phenomenal work by Jones, Harris, and a largely foreign cast. Not as understated as the first making, however powerful in its own way. Cast includes Richard Harris, James Earl Jones, Charles S. Dutton, and Vusi Kunene. (120 minutes,'95)

I prefer to save movies to the computer at the outset and then relocate them to the game console. This way I have my music in both places and I have a back up on the computer in case an error happens when transferring the files to the game console. For downloading movies from the Internet, pick your movie choices and save the movie to a dedicated file on the computer. Then copy those files from the computer to the newly created drive for the game console. In order to relocate movies from a disc to the game console a DVD ripper is needed. - 18758
