Children visiting Llandudno can enjoy the fantastic beach or a thrilling ride to the Great Orme summit in Britain's longest cable car ride. For the parents and grandparents relax on Llandudno's beautiful promenade, take advantage of North Wales best shopping facilities at Parc Llandudno, and enjoy tea and scones at Badger's Tea Rooms in the Victoria precinct.

Curving between two spectacular headlands known as The Great and Little Ormes Llandudno promenade is a great place to sit and relax. The promenade is lined with Victorian hotels and the character has been carefully preserved by the town council over the decades. None of the usual tourist shops line the promenade and amusement arcades have been banished as well. All this creates a truly terriffic and picturesque location where you can enjoy Llandudno's beautiful bay.

At well over one hundred years old Llandudno Pier offers an enchanting walk with excellent views of Llandudno and the Great Orme. There's lots of attractions on the pier for children with amusement arcades and rides and small stalls are dotted along the pier selling a variety of tourist items. The pier offers an excellent chance to take in the panoramic views of Llandudno's promenade and also get a good look at Happy Valley and the start of the cable car ride.

As the longest cable car ride in Britain the Great Orme cable car takes you from Happy Valley at the foot of the Great Orme to the summit over 600 feet higher. A family of two adults and two to three small children easily fits inside the cars or up to four adults can ride at the same time. From the summit it's possible to see the mountains of Snowdonia and the Isle of Anglesey on a clear day. The summit is home to a visitor centre, adventure playground for younger children, and amusement centre.

Another way to get up and down to the Great Orme summit is via Llandudno's tram. The tram's are beautifully decorated and have open windows taking riders from the base station close to the town centre up towards the summit. If you don't fancy a cable car ride then the tram is the perfect way to explore the Great Orme. Passengers change at the half way station and there's a small exhibition detailing some of the history of the trams in Llandudno.

Also on the Great Orme close to the summit are the Great Orme Copper Mines. The mines show what life may have been like for early settlers in North Wales and are believed to be over 4000 years old. Have a look around the tunnels and caverns chiseled from the rock millennia ago on the guided tour as you discover the history of this fantastic attraction.

Back in Llandudno town centre and for the younger generation there is ten pin bowling at Llandudno Superbowl. There is a fully licensed bar at the venue and food available from the cafe. Guitar in a Nutshell - How Does It Work?

By Payo W Perry

Guitar in a Nutshell is relatively new on the 'guitar website' market. It basically presents beginners with simple system of strums and chord connectors which quickly accelerate you into playing songs.

It achieves these results through a small set of universal strum patterns which can be applied and reused over a massive range of songs and by incorporating a proper system for practicing effectively. This is all supported by Songbooks which demonstrate how to put into action everything you've learned almost immediately.

The method is learned in it's basic form with just 4 lessons, available to watch online from a Guitar in a Nutshell DVD recording. Following that, lessons are also expanded into improver and intermediate levels which ensure an even learning curve, crucial for successful learning.

Aside from complete beginners the guitar world is full of people caught in ruts and not improving. It's a frustrating and de-motivating place to be, often ending in such discouragement that the student is convinced they have no natural talent for guitar and quit without ever moving past a typical beginner level.

This is largely explained by substandard teaching methods and a general lack of clarity from guitar lessons in general about how beginners really learn effectively.

A hallmark of Guitar in a Nutshell is the clarity it delivers in online lessons, generally its objective is to ensure that every lesson is understood 100% by any student who watches it. The method was actually born out of teaching real life beginner guitar students on a 1-1 basis. Through this work it was noticed that essentially they all shared the same challenges and problems when trying to learn the instrument.

As a solution to this, Guitar in a Nutshell was created as a way to clear the road ahead and find the fastest route to pushing students out of merely learning guitar and into playing real songs with confidence.

Well be sure and check out the sample lessons they have on offer on the website, you might be pleasantly surprised about how easy it is to learn with Guitar in a Nutshell! Good luck. - 18758
