The Nutty Professor: Jerry's craziest and most self-centered comedy casts him as chipmunk-faced college professor who does Jekyll-and-Hyde like changes, and changes into swaggering Buddy Love whom some have defined as a Dean Martin character. The movie is more fascinating than funny. Lewis buffs consideration of this as his masterpiece work. Cast includes Jerry Lewis, Stella Stevens, Del Moore, Kathleen Freeman, Med Flory, Howard Morris, Elvia Allman, and Henry Gibson.(107 minutes, 1963)

Dillinger: Rugged gangster story written by Philip Jordan. This is one of the best B films of its kind albeit a key bank robbery is made up of stock footage lifted from Fritz Lang's You Only Live Once. Cast includes Edmund Lowe, Anne Jeffreys, Lawrence Tierney, Eduardo Ciannelli, Elisha Chef, and Marc Lawrence. (70 minutes, 1945)

Slavers: Slavers is about the slave trade business that went on in Africa throughout the 19th century. An excellent cast is saddled with second-rate script. Cast includes Trevor Howard, Ron Ely, Britt Ekland, Jurgen Goslar, Ray Milland, Ken Gampu, and Cameron Mitchell. (102 minutes, 1978)

Rhythm Thief: Immediately fascinating and arrogant ultra low cost picture of a distant although afflicted Andrews, who lives on N.Y.C.'s dirty Lower East Side and makes his keep by marketing tapes of illicitly copied music. The film is intriguing and seductive at times. It was filmed in 11 nights, for $ 11,000. Cast includes Jason Andrews, Eddie Daniels, Kevin Corrigan, Kimberly Flynn, Sean Hagerty, Mark Alfred, Christopher Cooke, and Bob McGrath. (99 minutes, 1995)

Noel: Ambitious tear jerker in regards to the interactions of scared, susceptible buddies, lovers, colleagues, and outsiders on Christmas Eve. A lonely novel editor (Sarandon) whose mom suffers from Alzheimer's, a cop Stroller whose unreasonable jealousy is restraining his fiance Cruz, and a heartbroken waiter Arkin with a odd rebirth fantasy. Gets better as it goes along, it zeros in on issues of acceptance and reconciliation. Cast includes Penelope Cruz, Susan Sarandon, Paul Stroller, Alan Arkin, Marcus Thomas, Chazz Palminteri, Chantal Lonergan, and Erika Rosenbau. (88 minutes, 2004)

The film presents a scorching commentary on our school system, the indomitable power of the family, and the uncertainty of life. (109 minutes, 1994)

Hail Mafia: Somewhat fascinating melodrama in regards to employed killers going after a witness that has witnessed mob activities. Cast includes Henry Silva, Jack Klugman, Eddie Constantine, Elsa Martinelli, and Micheline Presle. (89 minutes, 1965)

Prostitutes are slaughtered in grisly style one hundred years to the night after Bloody Jack's legendary offenses. The twist midway through is preposterous. Cast includes James Spader, Cynthia Gibb, Pole Loomis, Rex Ryon, Robert Picardo, Chris Mulkey, and Dauitza Kingsley. (97 minutes, 1988)
