By Sara N Perry

A great comedy film is entertaining for everybody. From time to time we just ought to sit back, let go and laugh a bit. Here are a few suggestions for some great humorous films that you can download and enjoy today.

An extremely comical motion picture if you do not have kids in your house, as this movie is not suitable for the younger people. In "The 40 Year Old Virgin", Steve Carell plays a relatively attractive but unsuccessful in love 40-year-old man who just happens to still be a virgin. His buddies and coworkers find out and try to help him get some experience. Very funny mishaps and adventures follow throughout.

However, later on he meets Trish, a 40-year-old single mom of three and they date for a long time until he finally reveals his secret. He finds at the end that it's better to do it with someone you love anyway. The movie is rated R for excessive sexual content, infrequent drug use and bad language. This movie is unsuitable for kids and individuals who are upset by sexual circumstances. Stars Steve Carell as Andy, Catherine Keener as Trish and Paul Rudd, Seth Rogan, Elizabeth Banks and others.

A hilarious movie about being the underdog is "Dodgeball, A True Underdog Story". A silly and amusing film about how a proprietor of a gym called Average Joe's gym and how he and his friends must win a dodgeball competition in order to save the gym from being taken over by Globo Gym, a franchise.

The film stars Vince Vaughn as Peter, the procrastinating and underachieving owner of Average Joe's gym and Ben Stiller as White Goodman, a super rich, super fit and arrogant president and originator of the Globo Gym franchise. Look for an surprising cameo role by cyclist Lance Armstrong. Very funny situations and amusing characters are in this film. Enjoy!

And the third recommendation is a very funny motion picture but it still cannot compete with the TV series upon which it was based. "The Beverly Hillbillies" is a remarkable adaptation of the 1960's television show of the same name. Jed Clampett is a poverty-stricken mountaineer who barely keeps his family fed. Then one day he discovers the bubbling crude oil on his Arkansas property. He becomes a millionaire and loads up his family to move to Beverly, Hills that is. With swimming pools and movie stars.

Well cast with Jim Varney as Jed Clampett and Cloris Leachman as Granny. Lily Tomlin is cast as Miss Jane Hathaway. Diedrich Bader plays the part of Jethro Bodine and Erika Eleniak fits the role of Elly Mae Clampett. Directed by Penelope Spheeris, from the year 1993. A great adaptation, yet nothing could be more humorous than the original TV series.
